Common Ground: God’s Gift of a Restored Marriage
Marriage is hard but it doesn’t have to lead to hardened or divided hearts. Marital difficulty can turn you toward the Lord letting Him soften your heart guiding you toward rest and togetherness (Common Ground) with your spouse. Participating in the seminar will help you: Navigate past the core marital obstacle, discern and undo habits that are causing tension, recognize and step into healthy patterns of relating to God and one another, appreciate the unique callings of a husband and wife and gain a new hope for marital togetherness.

Home Base: Growing a Life-Giving Family
When kids play hide and seek the only place of safety is “home base” which is a picture of real life. Families can be a child’s home base but many fail to integrate the Gospel into everyday life and as a result everybody is on the run with no place to rest. This seminar will assist parents by helping them to: work together as a marital team, disarm the biggest enemy of nourishing family life, grasp the nature of redemptive discipline, understand how to integrate God’s word into everyday life, and shepherd their children toward healthy sexuality.

Grace from Head to Heart: Rediscovering God’s Kindness in a Fallen World
Many people understand God’s grace theoretically but don’t regularly experience it on a heart level. God is love – He is kind – but in a world of sin and suffering this kindness is often obscured and experienced by those who live life “counter-intuitively”. This seminar will help you respond to life’s difficulties so you experience God’s grace and the redemption He wants to bring. You will come to understand how to internalize grace helping you to change the way you approach life and those you love.

Relational Serving: From Activity to Impact
“Serving” in a church context often means activities people “do” like working in the nursery or being an usher instead of how to “be” for others to help them grow in the Gospel. Yet, Jesus served others most by the way he related to them and they left his presence leaning in more redemptive directions. This seminar will help you grasp the character, heart, and process of becoming a ‘relational server’ while also helping you to know how to impact others in a redemptive manner.

Everyday Manhood: Living Beyond Performance and Pressure
Our culture is full of mythical figures like the “Knight in Shining Armor,” and tends to glorify celebrities and experts. However the Lord, “Does not delight in the strength of a man but takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love,” (Psalm 147:10-11). This seminar provides men with a more life-giving approach to masculinity and gives them insight to battle pressure and discouragement while illustrating the avenues to gain more confidence as a man.

For the Long Haul  - Preparing Well for Marriage that will Last

Oftentimes knowing how to aim for a lifetime of togetherness with the one you love is a daunting task.  Research and anecdotal evidence demonstrate that couples who prepare well and continue to grow in certain key areas - communication, finances, sexual intimacy, extended family, and more - are much better prepared for a joyful marriage over the long haul.  In this seminar participants will be educated and given guidance in those areas that will help them build a foundation for a strong and nourishing marriage.
