We are a group of certified counselors who provide counseling, teaching, and consulting resources to churches, couples, and individuals.

Gordon Bals

GORDON BALS founded Daymark Pastoral Counseling in 1997. He counsels in a variety of areas but especially focuses on marital difficulties, grief (loss a loved one), trauma (unexpected life transition, raising a special needs child, serious injury or job loss) and religious or spiritual issues (those who are having a hard time integrating their faith into everyday life). Gordon is also an adjunct professor at Beeson Divinity School. Prior to founding Daymark Pastoral Counseling, Gordon worked as an adolescent and family counselor and as an Assistant Pastor at a local church. Gordon has been married since 1990 and has three daughters.

Bill White

BILL WHITE has been a counselor with Daymark since 2008. He has particular interest in counseling those with pre-marital, pre-engagement and marital issues, issues for singles, grief issues, depression, as well as a variety of other challenges. He has served in vocational Christian ministry since 1985, including not only counseling, but also discipleship, teaching, and missions. Bill is an elder in his church, and regularly teaches there on a variety of topics. Bill has been married since 1988, and has two 2 daughters and one son.
